HPV vaccine for Malaysian Teenagers: It is relevant?

Salam ‘Alaikum to all Malaysian citizens. I dedicated my words to all of you with full of concern. Let us go to the topic that i am going to write here. It is regarding the injection of Human Papilloma Virus Vaccine (HPV vaccine) for teenagers (secondary school girls).

First and foremost, you need to know what is Human Papilloma Virus, what disease it can  cause, how it is transmitted, and who will be infected...and i have also highlighted some important informations by using red colour. Below here are some details:

1.    Name of the virus: Human Papilloma virus

2.    Disease: This virus can cause warts on the penis, vulva, urethra, vagina, cervix, and around the anus. Certain types of genital warts increase a woman's risk for cancer of the cervix and vulva.

3.    Mode of transmission (how it is being transmitted): Sexually transmitted disease (meaning that it is transmitted through sexual contact)

4.    People who are at high risk of getting infection:

       4.1. Multiple sexual partners

4.2. Not knowing if someone you had sex with had STDs (sexually transmitted disease’s)

4.3. Early age when you start to be sexually active

       4.4. Tobacco and alcohol use

4.5. Stress and other viral infections (such as HIV or herpes) at the same tim.

The HPV vaccine is now being introduced to Malaysia teenagers (under age). After you have gone through some details on the virus, what do you think about giving the HPV vaccine injection to the secondary school teenagers?

Are our teenagers among those who have high risk to get the HPV infection? Is it worth for government to spend money for this?  What will people from other country think about our teenagers,  is it most of them involve in premarital sex??...Now, I leave it here for you to answer.
